Amanda Glave appointed new CEO of Stoby Måleri AB
Layer Group has appointed Amanda Glave as the new CEO of Stoby and one of its subsidiaries, Palmkvist Måleri. Amanda assumed her new role on August 18, 2025, and has now completed her first days at the company.

“The first days at Stoby have given me many impressions, and they have been fun, interesting, and rewarding. I still have many colleagues left to meet, and I look forward to getting to know the entire organization, our customers, and our suppliers,” says Amanda Glave.
Amanda brings solid experience from the construction industry, having held positions at NCC and Skanska. She describes her role as District Manager at Skanska Direkt—focused on building services and renovations—as the position most similar to her new role at Stoby. Most recently, she served as Project Director for Skanska’s New Healthcare Building in Malmö, a highly complex nine-year project comprising the new construction of a total of 108,000 square meters of healthcare facilities in collaboration with Region Skåne.
After several years in large and complex projects, Amanda felt the desire to get closer to the business again.
“I enjoy working with a variety of projects, where decision-making is faster and there is room for entrepreneurial spirit. That’s why Stoby feels like a perfect match! They have an excellent reputation, and it’s inspiring to be able to create results together. I am motivated by working with people and finding new ways forward,” says Amanda.
As a leader, she describes herself as curious and attentive, yet also direct and straightforward—qualities that will be important in her new roles. In addition to becoming CEO, Amanda will also serve as Regional Manager for Layer Group’s Southern Region, which includes seven companies.
“Amanda has a strong background in both large-scale projects and smaller entrepreneur-driven businesses. This makes her well equipped to lead Stoby and its subsidiary while also driving development in the Southern Region,” says John Strand, CEO and Group President of Layer Group.
