Layer Group expands within industrial coatings and welcomes Jönköping-based Nordial Adhesive to the group

Nordial Adhesive, specialists in industrial adhesives, is being acquired as a subsidiary of Tinter to strengthen Layer Group's industrial paint business. The timing of the acquisition could not have been better. Tinter is currently establishing itself in Jönköping and can now develop this new start with Nordial Adhesive.

Niklas Folkesson, CEO Tinter, Jonas Danielsson, Senior Advisor Layer Group, Nicklas Lindqvist, CEO Nordial Adhesive and Hugo Tullberg Wengholm, COO, Layer Group.

-We are delighted to welcome Nordial Adhesive to Tinter. Our companies complement each other incredibly well and their products allow us to offer a full range in the adhesives market. Our launch in Jönköping will be quicker, and being able to use Nicklas Lindqvist's extensive expertise is an additional benefit, says Niklas Folkesson, CEO of Tinter.

- Nordial Adhesive's CEO, Nicklas Lindqvist, is a highly driven and talented entrepreneur who single-handedly runs the entire company. We've already seen examples of how well he and the company will work together with Tinter. We look forward to introducing Nicklas to the rest of the industrial paint team, says John Strand, President and CEO of Layer Group.

The acquisition goes hand in hand with Layer Group's investment in the industrial paints sector, where we already have Tinter in Gothenburg and Skövde, as well as Stoby Industri in Hässleholm. Our adhesives operations form a sub-segment of industrial paints within which we now have Nordial Adhesive as well as Tinter's adhesives operations in Kållered. Nordial Adhesive adds a range of packaging adhesives which was a previous gap in our offering and is therefore, an excellent complement to our operations.

- I look forward to being part of Tinter and Layer Group. Together we form a bigger, stronger and more attractive supplier of industrial adhesives. The merger means we now have access to a strong brand portfolio to become a more complete supplier able to meet the various needs of our customers for adhesive applications in several markets, says Nicklas Lindqvist, CEO, Nordial Adhesive.
