Vista Oy involved in extensive hotel renovation

Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna in Hämeenlinna has undergone a major transformation, where Vista had the opportunity to showcase its craftsmanship through high-quality surface finishing as part of the demanding renovation project.

Vista Oy was responsible for the hotel’s painting, wallpapering, and mineral-based decorative trowel plaster finishes.   

Vista was responsible for the hotel’s painting, wallpapering, and decorative plastering, leaving a distinct mark on the hotel’s new appearance. Special attention was given to the mineral-based decorative plaster, which gives the walls depth, texture, and a sense of history. 

The goal of the project was to highlight the region’s history and local identity in a way that is both visible and tangible. The material choices combined glass, metal, and wood – elements that contribute to a timeless and historically inspired atmosphere. The color palette is based on natural green and brown tones that emphasize the building’s original character and connect it to the surrounding landscape. 

The newly renovated hotel now offers an even more pleasant and modern environment – a place that caters to both leisure travelers and business guests.
