Mikael Bylin New CEO of Mästarna Vision AB
Mästarna Vision AB in Sundsvall, part of Layer Group since 2022, presents Mikael Bylin as their new CEO. He succeeds Ambjörn Karlsson, who has been acting CEO for the past year. Ambjörn will continue his previous assignments within Layer Group, both as CEO of Sanfridssons Måleri and as regional manager for the group's northern region.

Mikael Bylin has a long and solid background in the construction and industrial sectors. He has worked for over 25 years in the construction trade, including as a regional manager, and also has experience as a CEO and COO in companies within steel construction as well as construction and assembly. When the opportunity to become CEO of Mästarna arose, Mikael felt that the role was the right step forward.
"The role's description matched me well, and I saw the opportunity to contribute to development and engage people. They were looking for someone with a large network in the construction industry, which I have accumulated over the years in my previous roles. I thrive in the role of creating energy and making things happen, and I look forward to doing it together with both previous partners and new ones," he says.
The first few weeks have given him a positive impression of Mästarna, a painting business consisting of four companies located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, and Östersund.
"I have been warmly welcomed and see an organization with great potential. Now I focus on listening, understanding the current situation, and together with the employees identifying our most important development areas."
For Mikael, leadership is central.
"I believe a lot in open communication and transparency. When people have information and involvement, both responsibility and commitment grow," he says.
An important part of Mästarna is the affiliation with Layer Group, which consists of over 60 locally anchored companies within painting, flooring, and industrial paint. Being part of a group is nothing new for Mikael, who sees the common driving forces positively;
