Commitment that pays off: Palmkvist’s journey toward larger window contracts
Through voices and internal drive within the company, Palmkvist Måleri in Malmö has developed both its operations and its employees within window renovation. They now have a signed and ongoing renovation contract covering 400 window units, with another major agreement on the way. Have their efforts paid off? Most definitely.

Since its inception, Palmkvist Måleri has primarily worked with service painting, but also taken on specialized assignments such as window renovation.
“Some of the painters wanted to attend training in certified window maintenance so that we could take our window initiative to the next level. An investment that pays off, of course in the quality we deliver but also in the employees’ engagement. We listened to their wishes and their desire to develop, and in doing so we have developed as a company,” says Magnus Assarsson, site manager at Palmkvist Måleri.
These were exactly the driving forces needed to take on increasingly larger window renovation projects. One example is the BF Andreelund project, where Palmkvist Måleri is currently renovating over 400 window units. The project is expected to take two years and employs at least four painters who are more or less self-sufficient in their work. At the same time, another major project is about to be launched.
“The initiative to take on more and larger window renovation projects feels spot on. The painters’ own engagement is strong, and we are looking positively ahead,” says Magnus Assarsson.
These are experiences that Palmkvist Måleri continues to build on, contributing to the group’s overall expertise in window renovation.
